Justin Moore: Off the Beaten Path in Arkansas
Justin Moore proves he is true to his roots through his music and with the kickoff of his third studio album, Off the Beaten Path.

After a special performance at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville on Friday night and watching the Razorback football game on Saturday, Moore headed over to Gaston’s White River Resort in Lakeview. He treated industry members of Country Radio and other special guests to a morning of fishing, cooking, cornhole, and an evening concert on the banks of the White River. Moore also took part in radio remotes, presented by Cabela’s, at Gaston’s lodge discussing a special edition of Off the Beaten Path, only available at the retailer.
In conjunction with the event, NRA Country has posted a series of unique behind-the-scenes clips of Moore’s favorite outdoor activities at www.NRAcountry.com. Fans will also have a chance to stream Moore’s lakeside performance on http://www.youtube.com/justinmoore beginning at 4p.m. EST on Thursday (9/19).
Moore, who grew up in Poyen, Arkansas, said he had heard about Gaston’s Resort but never visited there. He asked his record label to set up a weekend of fishing and music at Gaston’s to celebrate this album debut. There’s no doubt he can bait a hook and catch trout too, then entertain a gathering of folks with real country music sung from the heart on a stage made up of a bass boat and jacked up truck on the banks of the river in small town USA.

When Moore was recording his new album, he wanted to choose songs that would be relevant in today’s musical landscape, but that would also be true to who he is as an artist. Released today via Valory Music Group, the album includes duets with Miranda Lambert and Charlie Daniels.
