What to know
Since 1978, we've been renting canoes, rafts, and kayaks and shuttling whitewater paddlers on Big Piney Creek or hikers on Arkansas' own Ozark Highland Trail! Our outpost is centrally located just four miles off of Scenic Highway 7, ten miles north of Dover, and only five miles from Long Pool Recreation Area and Campground, making it convenient to stop by the store and pick up whitewater supplies or snacks & drinks.
You can easily visit other creeks and rivers, trails, cities, and/or restaurants while you're here! We can show you the short cuts to the Illinois Bayou, the Buffalo River, and the Mulberry, as well as trails like Glory Hole, and Pedestal Rock. If mountain biking or ATV's are your thing, no problem. We're close to Moccasin Gap Horse/ATV Trail, Pilot Rock area, and Treat Road.
You can find us at the intersection of State Highway 164 West and Long Pool Road or Old Highway 7, we're just an 1/8 of a mile from our Moore Outdoors take-out and private Campground, right on the Creek. Our outfitter store stocks dry bags & Pelican boxes, lifejackets, NRS paddling jackets and pants, helmets, paddles and t-shirts, as well as ice, drinks, and snacks and basic picnic & camping supplies.
Moore Outdoors Campground is across the creek from the take-out at the Twin Bridges, complete with flush toilets and hot showers. Our Indian Creek Cabin, is only a mile from the put-in at Helton's Farm at Treat. Fully furnished, including a Jacuzzi. All you have to bring is your groceries!
