The Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes you and your family to our beautiful region of North Central Arkansas, conveniently located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountain Region.

Additionally, the region is recognized by numerous talented musicians. In fact, we are home to award winning musical artists such as Ashley McBride, Phillip Sweet of Little Big Town, and American Idol Top 30 contestant Lauren Gray, as well as many other incredibly talented crafters and artists.
The Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce supports and promotes the cities of Ash Flat, Hardy, Cherokee Village and Highland near the beautiful Spring River in North Central Arkansas in Sharp County. We are a resource for lodging, dining, unique shopping and things to do and see in the foothills of the Ozarks.
The historic city of Hardy sits along the Spring River and offers numerous unique shopping and quaint Inns and Bed & Breakfasts in addition to rv campgrounds, cabins and \camping. There are multiple lakes and rivers in the region, and the most prominent is the beautiful, clean, clear waters of the Spring River, which originates in Mammoth Springs on the Missouri border and is the largest natural spring in Arkansas. Nearly ten million gallons of 58 degree water is pumped from the spring hourly and is floatable for 30 miles. Canoeing, kayaking and other floatation devices make for great fun for the whole family. And the fishing is fabulous!
Cherokee Village, the first planned retirement community in the United States, features 7 lakes, 2 championship golf courses, multiple creeks and waterfalls, walking trails and more. The South Fork River flows through the picturesque hilly region that hosts July 4th Thunder on Thunderbird is one of the largest fireworks displays in the state that shoots off the dam at Thunderbird Lake. Visitors and residents alike enjoy the reflections off the lake while on their boats, floating, or picnicking.
