Hot Springs Memorial Field Airport (HOT)

What to know

Originally having only grass strips for runways, Hot Springs Airport transitioned to paved runways, metal hangars and concrete building during World War II to better accommodate the injured military personnel flying into Hot Springs for medical care and rehabilitation at the Army and Navy Hospital. Today, the airport serves general aviation. Thoroughbred racing at Oaklawn helps provide a great deal of revenue for the facility.
