What to know
Machine Gun Grotto is the newest and one of the
largest indoor shooting ranges in Arkansas! Located in downtown Hot Springs, we
are walking distance from several hotels, shops, spas, and dining locations.
Our 11-lane range and large conference room can accommodate family reunions,
team building events, bachelor parties, and birthday parties! Whether you want
to spend some time on the range honing your skills with your personal guns or
want to experience the thrill of shooting one of our machine guns, we are the
place to visit in Arkansas.
Be Safe! Our range is always staffed with trained and experienced
Range Safety Officers (RSO). All of our staff are ready and able to provide
instruction on safe handling of firearms. If you are planning a group outing,
just call ahead and let us know you're coming and we will happily arrange to
have an RSO assigned to your group. If you are totally new to the shooting
sports, consider signing up for Private Instruction with one of our NRA
certified instructors.
Have Fun! We want you to enjoy your time on the range! Feel free to
bring your own gear but don't worry if you forgot something, we have everything
you need available to rent or purchase. If you don't have your own firearms we
are happy to recommend something from our rental cabinets. If you really want a
thrill though, you gotta "go full auto at the Grotto!" We guarantee
you'll come away with a "machine gun grin" after shooting any of the
dozen different machine guns available. (You must be 21 or older to rent a
handgun or machine gun and 18 or older to rent a semi-auto rifle.) We do
welcome kids as young as 6 on the range so long as they are accompanied by a
parent/guardian and the parent/guardian provides the guns and ammo for the
minor.
Learn if You Want to! We offer an array of classes from Pistol
Maintenance to the Enhanced Concealed Carry course. We offer courses for
beginners and for experienced shooters alike. We also offer Private Instruction
for a one-on-one instructional experience.
