What to know
The Crystal Garden is a souvenir shop in Mount Ida for local art, gifts and crystals. We are located along the crystal loop in the Ouachita Forest in close proximity to many mines. We offer a huge selection of local clear quartz crystals, minerals from all around the world and handcrafted items. Artists are working on site and can create a one-of-a-kind customized souvenir just for you.
Located on a spacious and peaceful property, this cozy store is a great stop for the whole family and their pets. We offer items for any budget from single stones to large crystal specimen, jewelry and home decor. The store owner, Dominik Schley, is known from his YouTube channel “Crystals of Arkansas” (https://www.youtube.com/crystalsofarkansas). Stop by for a visit and expert tips on digging your crystals.
We are developing the property to be a learning center for organic gardening and permaculture farming in addition to preserving wild spaces and providing a sanctuary for nature. The Crystal Garden also serves as an event center and retreat space. We held our inaugural event during the 2024 Eclipse and had performances by a lineup of world-renowned musicians.
We are offering land-based activities and workshops. We are currently offering Forest Bathing Walks on the property with certified forest therapy guide Jennifer Bopp (https://www.arkansasforesttherapy.com).
