Start off the New Year by planning a retreat to Mountain View! Whether you want to hone your craft or try something new, the Craft Village at the Ozark Folk Center in Mountain View is the perfect place to start. Artisans and crafters at the state park will offer a variety of classes for all ability levels during the annual Spring Ozark Folk School March 4 through March 23.

Folk School craft classes include Stained Glass, Broom Making 1 & 2, Copper Forming and Soldering, Tinsmithing, Pottery on a Potter’s Wheel, Hand Building Pottery, Knife Forging, Beginning Blacksmithing, Old-Fashioned Embroidery, Letterpress Printing, and Learning to Spin Yarn for Crafting. If you're interested in herbs, gardening, or cooking, there are classes in Herbal Tea Blending, Spring Herbs, Greenhouse Gardening, Homemade Herbal Remedies, Using Seasonal Herbs, Building Your Herbal Apothecary, Pasta Making, Herbs for Daily Use, and Succulents and Dish Gardens.
