Norman

Norman is located near the Caddo River and is around 10 miles from Mount Ida, which is known as the Quartz Crystal Capital of the World. The Norman Library in town has the distinction of once being the smallest-free standing public library in the nation. The library can be found in the Norman Town Square, a public park in the center of town, and both the library and park are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Also in town is the Caddo Indian Memorial, which is located on the site of a historic Caddo Indian burial ground.
