The Purple Cow diner and soda fountain is a family favorite. Why? Classic décor. Nostalgic atmosphere. And really fantastic food. Guests come here for gourmet burgers, specialty sandwiches and old-fashioned soda fountain treats – especially the iconic, hand-dipped purple vanilla shake. It all started in 1989 with a restaurant modeled after classic diners of the 50s. The food was fresh and the service was friendly. That original restaurant was a hit, inspiring additional locations throughout Central Arkansas. Each spot has its own personality, but you’ll always find great food and retro roots. Plus lots and lots of purple.
