Pangburn
Pangburn is located about halfway between Searcy and Heber Springs. It is also located near the Little Red River, a well known fishing destination for species such as rainbow and brown trout. Trout populations took off in this river when the Greers Ferry Dam was completed in the 1960s. The cold water from the bottom of the lake that was released into the Little Red enabled trout populations to flourish.
