The Weekender Cabins and RV Retreat

We are a small town Family owned and operated campground located in Plainview, Arkansas. We are situated next to Nimrod Lake and Ouachita National Forest. With 23 FULL HOOKUP LARGE RV sites and 3 cabins furnished with a full kitchen, full bathroom, 55 in smart TV, couch and beds, our campground and lodging can accommodate all. We are in the perfect spot for fisherman, hunters, a safe quiet place for travelers passing through, mountain bikers, motorcyclists, and other outdoor enthusiasts alike. Only minutes away from the Nimrod Llloyd Millwood WMA, our RV park is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a place to hunt. Head out in any direction from the park to find any of four beautiful state parks: Mount Nebo State Park, Mount Magazine State Park, Lake Dardanelle State Park and Petit Jean State Park. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing and fishing on the Fourche River nearby. We can easily be your base camp for all of the fun the area has to offer. 

The Harold Blalock City Park is directly next to the RV park and offers a paved walking path, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts and a baseball field. Enjoy the city of Plainview and its historic downtown. Ask us about the live music in the park. The Junction Cafe is within walking distance where some mighty fine diner food with a cajun flair can be enjoyed. When in season crawfish are available on the weekends. 

Our RV sites and cabins have space for boat parking. Coming soon we will be offering covered areas for boat and motorcycle parking. Owners are on site to answer any questions you have during your stay. Coin laundry is available to guests. Class A motorcoaches are welcomed as well as any sized rig. RV storage is also available.
