Tinker Time: Computer Take Apart and Junk to Jewelry

Arkansas Museum of Natural Resources

What to know

Join the museum interpreter to learn about what is inside the electronics that you use everyday. Your task will be to take apart supplied electronics of your choice with tools. Next, you will discover how different products were put together on assembly lines during the Industrial Revolution. With the use of the right kind of tools and safety gear, you will use your knowledge of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) to take these components apart, while discovering ways to recycle them.  You can make jewelry or any work of art that you can imagine with those parts. The program is free and open to everyone.  Please call the museum at (870) 725-2877 to reserve a spot.
