Experience the fall colors of The Natural State

It’s Otto the Otter here! I’m a North American River Otter and the mascot for Keep Arkansas Beautiful! Fall is my most favorite time of the year. I especially love it when the leaves turn yellow and orange—like me! Not only do I get to see all the beautiful autumn colors as I travel across the state, I get to see all of the hard work so many volunteers have done to keep Arkansas clean, green and beautiful. Thanks to our volunteers, I can swim in the cleanest and most beautiful rivers and lakes in Arkansas, free of litter and harmful debris!

October is a very important month because it is the last month of Great Arkansas Cleanup. You “Otto” get outside in your community, enjoy the cool fall air and join in cleanup in your town. If you can’t find a cleanup event in your area, register one of your own on our website at KeepArkansasBeautiful.com. The nice people at our office will send you the supplies you need to help!

Have a great time exploring and seeing all the beautiful colors this fall. I’ll see you out there!
